Become a LifeSource Mentor

LifeSource Foundation mentors provide the ongoing support, motivation, stability and positive influence that students need. Time invested in mentoring helps foster students' feeling of self worth and commitment to responsible decision-making. Mentors develop relationships with students, parents and teachers to help monitor and reinforce the program's message.

LifeSource mentors meet with students for at least two hours per week to reinforce the principles provided in LifeSource out-of-school time curriculum sessions. Training sessions and guidance are provided from our Mentor Program Coordinator to help the mentor’s discussions with the youth, provide additional assistance, referral services and to reinforce the programs goals.
